Defend Ukraine: Project Frozen

West Vancouver Fire & Rescue stations are currently accepting donations of winter clothing and blankets to help bring warmth to people in Ukraine during this challenging time.  West Vancouver firefighters are lending their support to District of North Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services's Project Frozen initiative, which aims to collect 3,000 winter jackets and blankets, and $15,000 for shipping costs to Ukraine. Most-needed items for this donation drive include: adult and children's jackets sweatshirts and pants winter socks mitts and gloves toques blankets sleeping bags Donations can be dropped off from now until December 18 at any North Shore fire station, including the following West Vancouver fire halls: Fire Station No. 1760 16th Street
